At a glance
Dr. Andreas Brandner is the founder and managing director of KM-A Knowledge Management Associates and scientific director of the KM Academy. As a consultant, trainer and researcher, he helps organisations develop knowledge strategies and turn them into everyday practice.
He also leads Knowledge Management Austria and the Knowledge for Development Partnership. His work connects knowledge sharing with sustainable development, including as a co-author of the Agenda Knowledge for Development and founder of the knowledge.city network.
Across these roles, he brings together businesses, public institutions, researchers and civil society to exchange experience and strengthen knowledge communities. He serves on the advisory board of the Gesellschaft für Wissensmanagement and has co-authored research on the contribution of diverse forms of knowledge to the Sustainable Development Goals.
