These terms apply to the shared public directory on okat.at and opendatainside.org from 3 November 2026. Each site's imprint identifies its operator. The shared directory is coordinated by Open Knowledge Austria. Support and requests can be sent to office@okat.at.

By submitting an entry, you confirm that you are authorised to represent it and to supply its text, image and website. Provide accurate public information about a person, organisation or initiative working with open data or related knowledge. Do not submit private or sensitive personal information. You retain your rights and grant the operators a non-exclusive licence to display, format and reproduce the submitted public materials on both sites and their directory exports for this purpose.

Approved entries appear in both directories and may use the Open Data Inside badge. Existing Open Data Inside entries carry the Open Data Inside Ambassador label. Entries originally listed in the OKAT Ecosystem and newly approved registrations carry both Open Data Inside Ambassador and OKAT Ecosystem Member. These labels indicate directory participation, not legal membership of an association, a commercial partnership, independent review, certification or endorsement by OKAT or the Open Knowledge Foundation.

We may supplement public professional information from cited public sources using an AI-assisted research service. You can request correction or removal and may object to enrichment. We review uncertain matches and may decline, restrict or withdraw misleading, unlawful, irrelevant or unauthorised entries. Approval, correction and withdrawal apply to both sites. Existing third-party images and logos retain their individual licences and rights.

The badge may be embedded or downloaded for the listed entity's genuine open-data activities using the supplied artwork and code. Keep its proportions and readable identity, and link to Open Data Inside or the entity's badge page. Do not imply certification, an exclusive relationship or endorsement, or use the badge for deceptive or unlawful purposes. Badge use does not grant rights to other organisations' logos. Stop presenting an active directory affiliation if your listing is withdrawn.

Public profiles and AI-assisted additions may contain errors or become outdated. We provide a correction channel and may update these terms with a dated notice. These terms do not exclude mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded. Directory registration does not subscribe you to marketing messages.
